National Healthcare Company

A large healthcare company with over 20 years of clinical records had a desire to study quality outcomes among their patient cohorts to help provide better care.

However, most of the details around a patient’s diagnosis, comorbidities, and treatment plan lived inside of approximately 3 million letters shared between doctors and patients stored on 4 different EMR instances.

The business needed a way to co-mingle and standardize structured data within a stack that supported their longer-term AI/ML needs. There was also a critical need to modernize the tools in use and migrate to cloud-based technology.

Doctors were able to, for the first time, study and visualize their cohort of patients and how their treatment plans aligned to global benchmarks for care.

Data previously captured in unstructured documents became readily accessible in tables which refreshed nightly. This improved the reactiveness and ability for a doctor to identify when a patient had dropped outside of the standard of care and take swift action.

The expanded dataset with a rich history was attractive to medical partners and able to be sold. This not only established a new revenue pipeline but covered the annual tech stack costs.

Professional Services Firm

A commercially successful professional services firm built a strategic growth plan that required a big technology uplift to help achieve their goals.

Omniche Advisory was established circa 2018 to help organisations leverage consultancy and advisory services, such as a Chief Information Officer (CIO) capability & Program Management based around an outsourced model.

We recognise business needs to embrace digital transformation, however not all businesses can afford the cost of internal IT teams and senior IT business leaders.
